The original Mercury Dime was released to public circulation in 1916. It was minted up until 1945 and was one of the last coins in the United States to contain real silver. The 1/10th oz Mercury Dime featured here pays tribute to the original coin and accurately captures the majesty of those that came before. This round is expertly crafted and contains 1/10th troy oz of .999 silver. Though this resembles the Mercury Dime, it is not legal currency nor can it be used as such.
When collectors see the expertly engraved details of this coin, they are not only impressed, but marveled by how well it captures the design of the original Mercury Dime. Artist Adolph Weinman is responsible for the original image, and the front of the coin is a unique version of Lady Liberty. You can immediately see the similarities between the Lady and Mercury, the Greek god, thanks to her winged helmet. In addition to Lady Liberty, there is an arch on the top of the coin with the phrase “Liberty.” The one difference between this design and Weinman’s original is that this coin does not show the mintage year.
On the reverse side, you will find an image of a stylized eagle. The center of the eagle features a shield with stars being upheld by the majestic wings. Below the shield, you will see a scroll unfurling featuring the letters “USA.” In addition, the American flag waves in the background and the scene is surrounded by stars on the left and right sides. The purity and weight are also displayed on the back of the coin.

If your return is accepted, we’ll send you a return shipping label, as well as instructions on how and where to send your package. Items sent back to us without first requesting a return will not be accepted.

Damages and issues
Please inspect your order upon reception and contact us immediately if the item is defective, damaged or if you receive the wrong item, so that we can evaluate the issue and make it right.
Exceptions / non-returnable items
Certain types of items cannot be returned, like custom products (such as special orders or personalized items). Please get in touch if you have questions or concerns about your specific item.
Unfortunately, we cannot accept returns on sale items or gift cards.
Exchanges
The fastest way to ensure you get what you want is to return the item you have, and once the return is accepted, make a separate purchase for the new item.
European Union 14 day cooling off period
Notwithstanding the above, if the merchandise is being shipped into the European Union, you have the right to cancel or return your order within 14 days, for any reason and without a justification. As above, your item must be in the same condition that you received it, unworn or unused, with tags, and in its original packaging. You’ll also need the receipt or proof of purchase.
Refunds
We will notify you once we’ve received and inspected your return, and let you know if the refund was approved or not. If approved, you’ll be automatically refunded on your original payment method within 10 business days. Please remember it can take some time for your bank or credit card company to process and post the refund too.
